Skygunners dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Sakers' 26. Filipino Kevin Quiambao (193-2001) had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American power forward Nathan Knight (208-1997, college: William & Mary) chipped in 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Skygunners players scored in double figures. Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) responded with 8 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists and Filipino forward Carl Tamayo (200-2001) scored 18 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

American power forward Johnny OBryant III (207-1993, college: LSU, agency: Slash Sports) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international guard Junhyeong Byeon (186-1996) chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The former international guard Hoon Heo (181-1995) responded with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and American forward Shawn Long (208-1993, college: Louisiana, agency: Pensack Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds. Four Anyang and five Egis players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
